In a sad story two African immigrants were found murdered in a Long Island, NY condo that is owned by New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma.
The two men were allegedly involved in a “black money” scheme where people are promised large amounts of smuggled money but are given black paper. Vilma was not home at the time of the murder and authorities do not believe Vilma was involved in the crime.

The New Orleans Saints have come to terms with former Vikings safety Darren Sharper. Sharper, the 33 year old veteran of 12 years, has 52 career interceptions and gives the Saints putrid backfield a big boost. Terms of the deal were not disclosed at this time.

The New Orleans Saints locked up linebacker Jonathan Vilma for five more years on a $34 million ($17M guaranteed) deal.
Vilma, who was acquired from the Jets in an off-season trade in 2008, registered 132 tackles in his first year as a Saint after a couple of disappointing seasons with the Jets. A speedy, but undersized, linebacker, Vilma is a much better fit in the Saints 4-3 and should continue these high tackle numbers for the next few years.
